Overview

This training workshop is designed in a way to enable the Supreme Audit Institution’s auditor, and Internal Auditors to implement financial auditing in accordance with the International Standards of Supreme Audit Institutions (ISSAIs) and the Internal Auditing Standards issued by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

Main Objectives:
Upon completion of this workshop, the participants will able to :

• understand and explain the financial audit in the public sector and guide through strategic considerations in implementing the financial audit standards.
• provide guidance and illustrations on the process, tools and working papers that could be used in conducting an efficient and effective financial audit.
• develop the strategic audit plan, prepare the planning memorandum, audit program and audit report for a financial audit.

To achieve the above objectives, the workshop will be delivered using various training tools that consist of power point presentation materials that are professionally prepared, videos, group activities and real practical case studies covers main topics discussed during the workshop.
